The paper is dealing with string-theory models of the Landau-Ginzburg type, which include four fermionic fields (that form a nonlinear sigma-model) and a superpotential interacting with them. The application of the ``A-twist'' to the Landau-Ginzburg model implies that two fermionic fields are worldsheet vectors, while two others are scalars. The work develops this model over topologically nontrivial spaces, and identifies its universality class.
