Fixed point subalgebras of root graded Lie algebras (Q1043680): Difference between revisions

The main objective of this article is the analysis of subalgebras of fixed points of root graded Lie algebras subjected to a specific class of automorphisms. It is shown that under some natural assumptions concerning the root graded Lie algebra and the automorphism, the subalgebra of fixed points possesses a compatible grading and allows a description of the structure of graded components.
