Self dual Einstein orbifolds with few symmetries as quaternion Kähler quotients (Q1048994): Difference between revisions

Using the quaternion Kähler quotient construction, the authors build a new family of SDE metrics with positive scalar curvature and with one dimensional isometry group on compact orbifolds obtained as quotients by toric actions on \(Gr_4(\mathbb{R}^{n+1})\). A very delicate analysis of the singular strata of the obtained quotients is added to describe the new examples completely. The same method is then applied to determine the singular strata of the exceptional quotients constructed in [\textit{C. P. Boyer, D. M. J. Calderbank, K. Galicki} and \textit{P. Piccinni}, Commun. Math. Phys. 253, No.~2, 337--370 (2005; Zbl 1083.53047)]. The paper is well written and offers detailed, non-trivial computations.
