Running error for the evaluation of rational Bézier surfaces (Q2654177): Difference between revisions

The authors perform a forward error analysis of the usual method to evaluate rational Bézier surfaces. The corresponding running error analysis is also carried out, and it is shown the sharpness of the error bounds. In addition, the authors modify the evaluation algorithm to include the error bound without increasing significantly its computational cost.
