    Let \(\Omega\) denote a complex-valued integrable function on the sphere \(S^1\), with mean value zero with respect to the angular measure, and let \[ T_\Omega f(x)= \lim_{\varepsilon\to 0+} T^\varepsilon_\Omega f(x) \] be the Calderón-Zygmund singular integral, where \[ T^\varepsilon_\Omega f(x)= \int_{|y|>\varepsilon} \Omega(y/|y|)|y|^{-2} f(x-y)\,dy. \] Suppose that \(\lambda(n)\), \(n\geq 0\), is a nonnegative, nondecreasing function of \(n\) which is \(o(n\log n)\) as \(n\to\infty\). It is proved that there exist on \(\Omega\) with \(\lambda(|\Omega|)\) integrable over \(S^1\), and a function \(f(x)\) which is continuous, integrable, tends to \(0\) at \(+\infty\) and \(\limsup_{\varepsilon\to 0+} |T^\varepsilon_\Omega f9x)|= \infty\); moreover, the operator \(T_\Omega\) is \(L^2\)-bounded.
