The paper deals with the one-dimensional equation \(u_{tt}=u_{xx}-V(x)u\) in the case that \(\lambda =0\) is neither eigenvalue nor resonance for the right hand side operator. A power decay of the Riesz projection of a solution onto the continuous spectrum of the corresponding operator in weighted norms is proved.
