The authors are interested to a family of noncommutative projective spaces, denoted \(\{{\mathbb C}P^l_q\}_{q\in]0,1[}\), defined as ``deformed'' of the standard projective space \({\mathbb C}P^l\), \(l\geq 0\), where \(q\) is the deformation parameter. For such spaces they construct a family of self-adjoint operators \(D_N\), \(N\in{\mathbb Z}\), which have compact resolvent and bounded commutators with the coordinate algebras of \({\mathbb C}P^l_q\). The claimed purpose is to try to fit such manifolds in the general framework of ``spectral triples'', as defined by A. Connes to encode noncommutative manifolds. The paper after a detailed introduction, where there are also emphasized some relations with similar previous works, splits in to five more sections and two appendices. 2. The ``exponential'' Dirac operator on \({\mathbb C}P^1_q\). 3. Preliminaries about \(U_q({\mathfrak su}(l+1))\). 4. The quantum projective space \({\mathbb C}P^l_q\). 6. A family of spectral triples for \({\mathbb C}P^l_q\). Appendix A. Some general definitions. Appendix B. Twisted Dirac operators on \({\mathbb C}P^l_q\). Remark. This paper fits in the fashionable approach to quantize extended geometric objects nowadays, that considers noncommutative geometric structures modifying classical structures and calculations, by an arbitrary introduction of some parameter \(q\in]0,1[\). Such ``deformed'' structures are called quantum analogues of homonymous commutative ones. Unfortunately, this is a virtual quantization game only, unjustified either from the mathematical point of view or physical one. (For more informations on the reviewer's criticism about quantization processes, see, e.g., the following reviews on similar works: Zbl 1109.58026; Zbl 1181.53079; Zbl 1170.53073; Zbl 1162.58002; Zbl 1136.58016; Zbl 1180.58006; Zbl 1180.58005; Zbl 1166.58006.)
