The main results of this paper concerns a special class of Einstein Finsler metrics. More exactly, let \(F\) be a non-Riemannian \(m\)-th root metric (\(m>2\)) on a manifold of dimension \(n>1\). If \(F\) is an Einstein metric, then it is Ricci flat. This theorem is also generalized to weak Einstein \(m\)-th root metrics.
