The asymptotic behavior of viscosity solutions of the uniformly elliptic fully nonlinear parabolic equation \[ u_t + F(D^2 u)=0 \] in the whole space is considered. In particular, by assuming \(F\) to be homogeneous, it is proved that the equation possesses unique positive and negative self-similar solutions \(\Phi^+\) and \(\Phi^-\) corresponding to specific so-called anomalous self-similarity exponents. Moreover, viscosity solutions of the equation corresponding to sufficiently smooth, exponentially decaying initial data converge (under similarity rescaling) to \(\Phi^\pm\) locally uniformly.
