Long-time existence for semi-linear Klein-Gordon equations on tori (Q982546): Difference between revisions

The initial value problem for the equation \(u_{tt}-\Delta u+m^2u=F(u)\) on a torus in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) with small initial data is dealt with. Long-time existence of the unique solution to the problem for almost all positive numbers \(m\) is proved. The length of the lifespan does not depend on the dimension \(n\).
