\textit{K. Kurdyka} [Lect. Notes Math. 1524, 316--322 (1992; Zbl 0779.32006)] obtained the following result in the real subanalytic setting: Let \(f: X\subset\mathbb{R}^n\to\mathbb{R}\) be a globally subanalytic function that is locally Lipschitz continuous for some fixed constant, then it is piecewise (globally on the globally subanalytic piece) Lipschitz continuous. The result relies on the stratification of subanalytic sets in so called \(L\)-regular cells. The authors of the paper under review show this theorem for \(p\)-adic subanalytic functions. The statement also holds in the \(p\)-adic semi-algebraic setting. For the proof they introduce a cell decomposition adapted to the tame \(p\)-adic situation.
