The author has previously introduced the notion of pseudocategory in an additive 2-category \(\mathbb{A}\); it is a certain kind of truncated pseudo-simplicial object in \(\mathbb{A}\). Extending the equivalence between categories in a suitable additive category with morphisms in the additive category, the author shows the equivalence of pseudocategories in a suitable \(\mathbb{A}\) with his notion of pseudomorphism in \(\mathbb{A}\).
