One of the important properties of the \(n\)-dimensional cube or the Euclidean space is that any map from an \(n\)-dimensional compactum \(X\) into \(n\)-dimensional cube (or the Euclidean space) can be approximated by maps with 0-dimensional fibers. This paper introduces and investigates the class of spaces having that property. The authors investigate the class of spaces having the (\(n, 0\))-approximation property. This property is useful for obtaining results about approximation by dimensionally restricted maps.
