The authors use Tartar's oscillating test function technique in diverse forms for homogenizing a model problem based on the Navier-Stokes equation. In particular, they often make use of the compactness lemma while passing to the limit in some of the terms in the equations being homogenized. They make use of the concept of \(H\)-measure in most of their theorems.
