The authors recall the interpretation of the functional equation of Riemann's zeta function in the context of Fourier analysis. They introduce the notion of a \(\lambda \)-pair of absolutely integrable functions and show that the components of the \(\lambda \)-pair satisfy an identity involving convolution type products.
