The authors generalize the well-known classical Tauberian theorem given by \textit{G. H. Hardy} [Lond. M. S. Proc. (2) 8, 301--320 (1910; JFM 41.0278.02)]. Namely, they retrieve slow oscillation of a real sequence \((u_n)\) from \((C, 1)\) summability of its generator sequence by adding some conditions on the general control modulus of the oscillatory behavior of integer order of \((u_n)\).
