\textit{Z. Heleyová} and the reviewer [Semigroup Forum 60, No. 3, 450--469 (2000; Zbl 1005.06002)] presented a construction of a free product of pseudocomplemented semilattices. An alternative characterization can be found in the paper under review. The authors give their description in terms of the Glivenko congruence.
