This paper deals with the equations of motion for the Casher-Lebowitz chain. The authors result is the strict scaling relation for the mass averaged, or annealed, stationary current: Assume that the masses \(M_1,M_2,\dots, M_n\) are independent and identically distributed. Suppose that the common probability distribution of these masses admits a density, compactly supported on \((0,\infty)\), continuously differentiable inside its support, with an uniformly bounded derivative. Then there exist positive constants such that the heat current satisfies presented relation. Thea ctual proof is presented.
