Let \(F\) be a locally compact non-Archimedean field, \(B/F\) a division algebra of dimension 4. By an entire Fourier-analytical approach the author presents a new construction of the Jacquet-Langlands correspondence between smooth irreducible representations of \(B^\times\) of dimension \(>1\) and irreducible cuspidal representations of \(\text{GL}_2(F)\), in which the preservation of epsilon factors is automatic.
