This survey concerns various particular classes of polyhedra in \(\mathbb{R}^3\). Namely, the author deals with parallelohedra, zonohedra, monohedra, isohedra and rhombic polyhedra, and briefly discusses relations between them (cf. [\textit{B. Grünbaum} and \textit{G. C. Shephard}, Tilings and patterns. New York: W. H. Freeman and Company. (1987; Zbl 0601.05001); \textit{J. E. Taylor}, Am. Math. Mon. 99, No.~2, 108--111 (1992; Zbl 0757.52006); \textit{H. S. M. Coxeter}, J. Math. Pures Appl., IX. Sér. 41, 137--156 (1962; Zbl 0123.13701); \textit{N. P. Dolbilin}, Proc. Steklov Inst. Math. 266, 105--119 (2009); translation from Tr. Mat. Inst. Steklova 266, 112--126 (2009; Zbl 1185.52020)]). Particular attention is payed to E.~Fedorov's enumeration of convex monohedral rhombic isohedra (isozonohedra) completed by \textit{S. Bilinski} [Periodicum Math.-phys. astron., II. Ser. 15, 251--263 (1960; Zbl 0099.15506)]. Properties of Bilinski's rhombic dodecahedron are described in details, relations to Kepler's rhombic dodecahedron are revealed. Besides, non-convex rhombic monohedra as well as non-convex parallelohedra are carefully discussed too. An indentation method for constructing such non-convex polyhedra from convex ones is presented. Numerous examples of polyhedra in question are described. The survey may be recommended for a wide readership, it is clearly written and accompanied by numerous figures and references. The text includes fascinating historical remarks. In particular, a favourable assessment of E.~Fedorov's impact on the studying of polyhedra is given.
