A quadrangle comparison theorem and its application to soul theory for Alexandrov spaces (Q2430819): Difference between revisions

The authors derive two sufficient conditions for a complete finite-dimensional Alexandrov space of nonnegative curvature to be contractible. One of the new technical tools used in the proof is a quadrangle comparison theorem inspired by Perelman.
