This paper continues the study of the \(q\)-deformed \(\mathfrak{gl}_{l+1}\)-Whittaker function from [Part I, Commun. Math. Phys. 294, No. 1, 97--119 (2010; Zbl 1222.17015), Part II, Commun. Math. Phys. 294, No. 1, 121--143 (2010; Zbl 1222.17016)] with the focus on its explicit construction. The authors identify \(q\)-deformed \(\mathfrak{gl}_{l+1}\)-Whittaker functions with a specialization of Macdonald polynomials. As a consequence, the authors obtain a representation of \(q\)-deformed \(\mathfrak{gl}_{l+1}\)-Whittaker functions in terms of Demazure characters of the affine Lie algebra \(\hat{\mathfrak{gl}}_{l+1}\). Additionally, the authors construct a representation of a \(q\)-deformed \(\mathfrak{gl}_{l+1}\)-Whittaker function as a particular matrix element of several copies of quantum torus algebras. The results of the paper allow a straightforward generalization to the case of simply-laced Lie algebras.
