The present paper is a continuation of work of the first author [in Pac. J. Math. 243, No. 2, 375-398 (2009; Zbl 1183.20015)]. In this paper, the authors show that the \(p\)-rank of a finite simple group with Abelian Sylow \(p\)-subgroups is upper bounded by its \(p\)-local rank except in a few cases.
