Zhu's algebras and \(C_2\)--algebras are important algebras in the theory of vertex operator algebras. It was conjectured by \textit{M. R. Gaberdiel} and \textit{T. Gannon} [Contemporary Mathematics 497, 65--78 (2009; Zbl 1232.17038)] that for certain rational vertex operator algebras of affine type the associated Zhu's algebras and \(C_2\) algebras have the same dimensions. In the paper under review the authors prove the Gaberdiel-Gannon conjecture for vertex operator algebras associated to the affine Lie algebras of type \(A\). In order to prove the main result the authors apply the theory of abelian radicals which they also develop in the paper.
