Let \((\Gamma,\Sigma,\mu)\) be a measure space where \(\mu\) is a \([0,+\infty]\)-valued measure, and \(p\) and \(q\) positive real numbers. The authors study \(q\)-convergence and \(p\)-\(q\)-convergence of sequences of measurable functions. \((f_n)_{n\in\mathbb{N}}\) is said to converge to \(f\) \(q\)-completely (respectively, \(p\)-\(q\)-completely) if there is a null sequence \((\varepsilon_n)\) (respectively, a sequence \((\varepsilon_n)\in\ell_p\)) of positive numbers and an index \(n_0\in\mathbb{N}\) such that \(\sum_{n=n_0}^\infty [\mu(|f_n-f|>\varepsilon_n)]^q<\infty\).
