The authors consider the dynamic predator-prey reaction-diffusion system with Beddington-DeAngelis functional response and homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions with the aim to investigate the stability of the positive constant steady state solution and the existence of Andronov-Hopf bifurcation together with stability of bifurcating periodic solutions. Normal form theory and center manifold reduction are applied. The occurrence of codimension two Bogdanov-Takens bifurcation is shown.
