This paper presents a continuation of the author's previous work [\textit{C. Cornut}, Ann. Inst. Fourier 59, No. 6, 2223--2254 (2009; Zbl 1206.22009)] on the action of a specific subgroup of a classical \(p\)-adic group \(G\) on its Bruhat-Tits building. Let \(E\) denote a quadratic extension of a \(p\)-adic local field \(F\). Further, let \(SO = SO(V, \varphi)\), where \((V, \varphi)\) is a quadratic \(F\)-space and \(U = U(W, \psi)\), where \((W, \psi)\) is a Hermitian \(E\)-space. The author investigates further properties of the spherical pair \((SO, U)\), considering the simplicial structure of the Bruhat-Tits building of the orthogonal group. Studying the graph theoretical aspects of the action of a unitary group on this Bruhat-Tits building, the author obtains a procedure for computing the volume of the stabilizer in \(U\) of each vertex or edge in this building. We note that the description of the image of this stabilizer in the compact torus \(T=U/SU\) is also given.
