The paper studies synchronization of coupled systems of autonomous differential equations \[ x'=f(x)+g Dx,\quad x=(x^{(1)},\dotsc,x^{(N)}) \in \mathbb R^{Nn}, \] where \(f(x)=(f(x^{(1)}),\dotsc,f(x^{(N)}) \in \mathbb R^{Nn}\). The coupling matrix is separable, i.e., \(D=\mathbf D\otimes L\) with \(L\in \mathbb R^{n\times n}\) and \(\mathbf D\in \mathbb R^{N\times N}\), where the coupling structure is captured by the matrix \(\mathbf D\). The paper presents a unified approach to the analysis of the stability of the synchronized solution \(x(t)\) with \(x^{(1)}(t)=\dotsb=x^{(N)}(t)=u(t)\). In particular, sufficient conditions for the local asymptotic stability of such a solution are presented.
