The authors obtain a priori estimates and existence of solutions of generalized mean curvature equations \[ -\text{div}((1+|Du(x)|^2))^{\frac{p}2-1}Du(x))=u^q,\quad u(x)>0\qquad x\in\Omega \] in smooth domains with Dirichlet condition \(u=0\) on the boundary \(\partial\Omega.\) Using the blow-up method with the Liouville-type theorem of the \(p\)-Laplacian equation, a priori bounds and estimates of the interior gradient for all solutions are obtained. The existence of positive solutions is described by topological methods. The non-existence of solutions by Pohozaev identities is also considered.
