Let \(V\) be a vector space and let \(G\) be a \textit{building set}, i.e. a finite collection of subspaces of the dual \(V^*\), whose elements are indecomposable. Many combinatorial properties of \(G\) can be read as properties of an associated a subvariety of a product of the projective spaces, the \textit{De Concini--Procesi model} \(Y_G\) of \(G\). \textit{E. M. Rains} [J. Topol. 3, No. 4, 786--818 (2010; Zbl 1213.14102)] determined a description of the ring structure of the homology of \(Y_G\). In the paper under review, the authors restrict their attention to Coxeter arrangements, defined as sets \(W\) of hyperplanes orthogonal to the elements of a roots system of a Coxeter group. When \(G\) is the minimal building associated to a Coxeter arrangement \(W\), the authors provide a new description of the complexes that determine the integral homology of \(Y_G\). The description is based on a presentation of \(Y_G\) as a quotient of a suitable \(C^\infty\)-manifold with corners.
