The article presents asymptotic analytical solutions for a fifth-order Duffing-type temporal problem having strong inertial and static nonlinearities. The article is divided into five sections. The first section is an introduction. The second section derives a strongly nonlinear equation from the governing equations of the beam model. In Section 3, the homotopy analysis method (HAM) is utilized to establish asymptotic analytical solutions via higher-order analytical approximations. The HAM results are compared with numerical integration solutions in Section 4. A conclusion summarizes the obtained results in Section 5.
