    The main result of the paper corresponds to that of \textit{D. Miheţ} and \textit{V. Radu} [J.\ Math.\ Anal.\ Appl.\ 343, No. 1, 567--572 (2008; Zbl 1139.39040)]. Let \(X\) be a real linear space, \((Y,\mu,T_{M})\) a random normed space and \(\varphi\) a mapping from \(X^2\) to the space of distribution functions such that for some \(\alpha>2\), \(\varphi_{x,y}(t)\geq\varphi_{2x,2y}(\alpha t)\), \(x,y\in X\), \(t>0\). If a mapping \(f: X\to Y\) satisfies \(f(0)=0\) and \[ \mu_{f(x+y)-f(x)-f(y)}\geq\varphi(x,y),\qquad x,y\in X, \] then there is a unique additive mapping \(A: X\to Y\) such that \[ \mu_{f(x)-A(x)}(t)\geq\varphi_{x,x}((\alpha -2)t),\qquad x\in X,\;t>0. \] Some corollaries are given, as well as a counterexample to one of the results of D. Miheţ and V. Radu [loc. cit.].
