In this article the linearization of planar ODEs near a non-degenerate saddle point with rationally incommensurable eigenvalues is studied. The authors impose some conditions on the linearizing transformation in order to circumvent the so-called problem of small denominators. They analyze the convergence of the underlying transformations in detail.
