    The author considers the generalized Darboux problem \[ u_{yy}-\left| y\right| ^{m}\left( u_{xx}-4\lambda u\right) =0,\;m=const\geq 0 \] with boundary conditions \[ \begin{cases} \sum_{k=0}^{n}a_{k}(x)D_{0x}^{\alpha _{k}}u(x)+b_{0}(x)u_{y}(x)=c_{0}(x),\;0<x<r, \\ u\left[ \theta _{0}^{m}(x)\right] =\psi _{0}(x),\;0\leq x\leq r, \end{cases} \] in the domain \(\Omega _{m}=\left\{ z:0<\xi <\eta <r\right\} \) of the Euclidean plane of points \(z=x+iy.\) Here \[ \xi =x-\frac{2}{m+2}\left( -y\right) ^{(m+2)/2},\;\eta =x+\frac{2}{m+2} \left( -y\right) ^{(m+2)/2},\;y<0 \] \(\bar{\Omega}_{m}\) is the closure of \(\Omega _{m},\) \[ \theta _{\xi }^{m}(\eta )=\frac{\xi +\eta }{2}-i\left[ \frac{(m+2)(\eta -\xi )}{4}\right] ^{2/(m+2)}, \] \(D_{0x}^{\alpha _{k}}\) is the Riemann-Liouville operator, \(u(x)=u(x,0),\) \( u_{y}(x)=u_{y}(x,0)\) and \(u\left[ z\right] =u(\text{Re}\,z,\text{Im}\,z).\) She finds necessary and sufficient conditions ensuring the unique solvability of this problem.
