The author derives the following closed form formula involving the dilogarithm function \(\text{Li}_2(z)=\sum_{k=1}^\infty z^k/k^2\): \[ \text{Li}_2(\sqrt{2}-1)+\text{Li}_2(1-\sqrt{2}/2)=\frac{\pi^2}{8}-\frac{1}{2}\ln^2(1+\sqrt{2})-\frac{1}{8}\ln^2 2. \]
