Using the algebraic classification of pseudo-Riemannian spaces introduced by \textit{S. Hervik} and \textit{A. Coley} [Classical Quantum Gravity 28, No. 1, Article ID 015008, 13 p. (2011; Zbl 1207.83050)] the authors construct a set of 4-dimensional neutral signature metrics for which all scalar invariants vanish (VSI spaces). They also present 4-dimensional neutral Einstein metrics for which all curvature invariants are constant (CSI spaces). Compared to the Riemannian and Lorentzian cases neutral signature VSI and CSI spaces allow for additional degrees of freedom.
