The paper deals with an Adams-type inequality in the setting of weighted Morrey spaces. More precisely, for \(1\leqslant p<+\infty\) and \(0\leqslant\lambda <1\), let \(L^{p,\lambda}(u,v)\) be the weighted Morrey space associated with the two weights \(u\) and \(v\) on \(\mathbb R^n\), that is \[ \begin{multlined} L^{p,\lambda}(u,v)=\Bigl\{f \in L^1_{loc}(\mathbb R^n): \|f\|_{L^{p,\lambda}(u,v)}:=\\ \sup_{B\subset \mathbb R^n, B \mathrm{\,ball}}\Bigl(\frac{1}{v(B)^\lambda}\int_B|f(x)|^pu(x)dx\Bigr)^\frac{1}{p}<+\infty\Bigr\}.\end{multlined} \] If \(0<\alpha<n\), \(0<\lambda<1-\frac{\alpha}{n}\) and \(1<p<\frac{n}{\alpha}(1-\lambda)\), the authors prove that if \(w\) belongs to the Muckenhoupt class \(A_{1+\frac{p-1}{\lambda}}(\mathbb R^n)\), then there exists a positive constant \(C\) such that \[ \|I_\alpha f\|_{L^{q,\lambda}(w^\lambda,w)}\leqslant C\|f\|_{L^{p,\lambda}(w^\lambda,w)}, \] with \(I_\alpha\) the usual fractional integral operator and \(\frac{1}{q}=\frac{1}{p}-\frac{\alpha}{n(1-\lambda)}\). The authors also investigate the boundedness of the modified fractional integral operator from weighted Morrey spaces to Lipschitz spaces and to \(\mathrm{BMO}\) spaces.
