A ring \(R\) is a UDI (unique decomposition into ideals) ring, if any \(R\)-module that decomposes into a finite direct sum of indecomposable ideals, this decomposition is unique apart from the order and isomorphism class of ideals. The main results of the paper under review shows that if \(R\) is a reduced Notherian ring and has the UDI property then so does any finitely generated (as an \(R\)-module) over ring \(S\) of \(R\), and if \(R\) is of Krull dimension one then the UDI property of \(R\) is carried over to any over ring \(S\) of \(R\) (without the finitely generated condition on \(S\)). For part I, cf. the author and \textit{L. Klingler} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 363, No. 7, 3703--3716 (2011; Zbl 1226.13009)].
