Several theorems on minimal and harmonic surfaces, so that these could be applied to situation for \(n\times n\) Bézier surfaces have been proved earlier in a sequence of papers (e.g. [\textit{J. Several theorems on minimal and harmonic surfaces, so that these could be applied to situation for \(n\times n\) Bézier surfaces have been proved earlier in a sequence of papers (e.g. [\textit{J. Monterde} and \textit{H. Ugail}, Comput. Aided Geom. Des. 21, No. 7, 697--715 (2004; Zbl 1069.65526); ibid. 23, No. 2, 208--255 (2006; Zbl 1083.65014)]). Noticing certain discrepancies in the computation and deficiencies in the proofs of some of the foregoing results, the authors correct them here and extend several results so that they can also fit to the situation for \(n\times m\), with \(n\neq m\) Bézier surfaces.
