The author considers a closed orientable surface \(S\) of genus \(g\geq2\) which is homeomorphic to \(\Omega/G\), where \(\Omega\) refers to the domain of discontinuity of the Schottky group \(G\) whose rank is equal to \(g\). Clearly, in this setting \(S\) can be equipped with a complex projective structure with holonomy \(\rho\), for some fixed epimorphism \(\rho: \pi_1(S) \to G\). The main result of the paper is that every such projective structure with holonomy is derived via performing a \(2\pi\)-grafting on \(\Omega/G\) along a multiloop on \(S\). (The reader might like to recall that, roughly speaking, a \textit{\(2\pi\)-grafting} transforms a projective structure into some other projective structure without changing the holonomy representation, whereas a \textit{multiloop} is the union of isolated and disjoint simple closed curves).
