The author presents an iterative method to compute eigenpair partial derivatives of quadratic eigenvalue problems with respect to system parameters. Remarkably, this method does not use any linearization. Convergence is proved under some suitable conditions and a clear algorithm is provided. Significant numerical examples show that the method is efficient and competitive for dominant eigenvalues, especially for large quadratic eigenvalue problems.
