A classical invariance principle of \textit{M. D. Donsker}-type [Mem. Am. Math. Soc. 6 (1951; Zbl 0042.37602)] is extended to the class of Besov-Orlicz spaces associated to the \({\mathcal N}\)-exponential function \(M_2(x)= \exp(x^2)- 1\).
