The authors define the incomplete bivariate Fibonacci and Lucas \(p\)-polynomials as follows: For \(p\geq 1\), \(n\geq 1\) let \[ F_{p,n}^k(x,y)=\sum_{j=0}^k\binom{n-jp-1}{j} x^{n-j(p+1)-1}y^j,\quad 0\leq k\leq\lfloor(n-1)/(p + 1)\rfloor, \] \[ L_{p,n}^k(x,y)=\sum_{j=0}^k \frac{n}{n-jp}\binom{n-jp}{j} x^{n-j(p+1)}y^j,\quad 0\leq k\leq\lfloor(n)/(p + 1)\rfloor . \] From this they obtain for \(x=1\), \(y=1\), the incomplete Fibonacci and Lucas \(p\)-numbers, for \(x=2\), \(y=1\) the incomplete Pell and Pell-Lucas \(p\)-numbers, for \(x = 1\), \(y=2\) the incomplete generalized Jacobsthal number and besides for \(p=1\) the incomplete generalized Jacobsthal-Lucas numbers. In case \(x=1\), \(y=1\), \(p=1\), they get the incomplete Fibonacci and Lucas numbers, in case \(x=1\), \(y=1\), \(p=1\), \(k=\lfloor(n-1)/(p + 1)\rfloor\) the Fibonacci and Lucas numbers. Also generating function and properties of the incomplete bivariate Fibonacci and Lucas \(p\)-polynomials are given.
