In this paper, the authors give some estimate of the essential norm of bounded composition operators \(C_{\varphi}\;(\varphi=(\varphi_1,\ldots, \varphi_n))\) between \(\beta^p(B_n)\, (\beta_0^p(B_n))\) and \(\beta^q(B_n)\, (\beta_0^q(B_n))\), where \(p,q>0\) and \(\beta_n\) is the unit ball of \(\mathbb C^n\). They also give a necessary and sufficient condition for the composition operator \(C_{\varphi}\) to be compact from \(\beta^p(B_n)\) (or \(\beta_0^p(B_n)\)) into \(\beta^q(B_n)\) (or \(\beta_0^q(B_n)\)).
