Let \(\widehat f(m,n)\) be the Fourier-Haar coefficients for function \(f\) of bounded \(p\)-variation. Conditions, under which \[ \sum^\infty_{m=1} \sum^\infty_{n=1} (mn)^\beta|\widehat f(m,n)|<\infty,\;\beta> 0 \] are presented. Reviewer's remark: Let us remark that these results are partially overlapping with older papers by \textit{J. Szelmeczka} [Commentat. Math. 17, 475--479 (1974; Zbl 0285.42016)], and two papers by \textit{A. Kranczkowski} [Funct. Approximatio, Comment. Math. 5, 25--30 (1977; Zbl 0353.42012); ibid. 6, 119--133 (1978; Zbl 0379.42007)]. All these papers are not mentioned in the references of the author's paper.
