(GRW) theory refers to Ghirardi-Rimini-Weber theory, (GRWm) to matter density ontology and (GRWf) refers to flash ontology. Qualitatively speaking, the paper displays a formalism, referred to as (GRW) formalism, which is analogous to (although different from) the quantum formalism and summarizes the empirical content of both (GRWm) and (GRWf). The derivation of this formalism is based on the primitive ontologies of (GRWm) and (GRWf), and its structure is similar to that of the quantum formalism but involves different operators.
