Let \((\Omega, \Sigma,\mu)\) be a complete measure space and \(X\) a Banach space. A weakly \(\mu\)-measurable function \(f\colon \Omega \rightarrow X\) is said to be Pettis integrable if the map \(x^* \rightarrow \int_Ex^*fd\mu\) is a continuous linear form for each \(E \in \Sigma\). If all \(X\)-valued Pettis integrals defined on \((\Omega, \Sigma,\mu)\) have separable ranges, it is shown that the space of all weakly \(\mu\)-measurable (classes of scalarly equivalent) \(X\)-valued Pettis integral functions with integrals of finite variation, equipped with the variation norm, contains a copy of \(c_o\) if and only if \(X\) does.
