Let \(\mathcal C\) be a finite category such that for each morphism \(x\) there is a morphism \(y\) such that \(xyx=x\). This is a natural categorical analogue of a regular semigroup. Given a field \(\Bbbk\) of characteristic zero one can consider the path algebra \(\Bbbk\mathcal C\). The multiplication in the latter algebra can be twisted using certain \(2\)-cocylces. In this paper it is shown that such twisted path algebras are quasi-hereditary.
