Space-like Weingarten surfaces in the three-dimensional Minkowski space and their natural partial differential equations (Q1935088): Difference between revisions

This article carries over results obtained by the authors [J. Phys. A, Math. Theor. 43, No. 40, Article ID 405210, 27 p. (2010; Zbl 1201.53003) from the case of Weingarten surfaces in Euclidean 3-space to the case of space-like Weingarten surfaces in Minkowski 3-space. In particular so-called natural principal parameters are introduced, and the Lund-Regge reduction problem for Weingarten surfaces is solved.
