Entourages, covers and localic groups (Q1937979): Difference between revisions

The paper discusses two approaches to uniformities on locales: via entourages and via covers. It is proved that the two resulting categories are concretely isomorphic. Then entourage and cover uniformities, induced by the group structure, on localic groups are examined in detail. Using the equivalence of these uniformities it is proved that a homomorphism of localic groups is uniform.
